My Hobbies
Running is my ritual. Not because I am fast, but because it clears the noise in my head. I run along the river, past old bridges and sleeping swans, feeling the rhythm of my feet against the ground. It is the only time my thoughts stop racing. Sometimes I run until my lungs burn, just to remember I am alive. I also love reading - poetry mostly, but also novels that make me feel less alone. Cooking is another passion. I chop vegetables slowly, play music, and pretend I am in a French film. These small rituals keep me grounded. They remind me that joy lives in ordinary moments - in the smell of fresh herbs, in a good line of poetry, in the sound of rain against the window
On Relationships
I have learned that people are like rivers — they change, they flow, they carve new paths. You cannot hold them, only let them pass through your life and be grateful for the time they stay. I used to hold on too tightly. I thought love meant never letting go. Now I understand that real love is not a fist, but an open palm. It is freedom. It is wanting the best for someone, even if that means they walk away. I am learning to love without control, to trust without fear, to be present without clinging. Not everyone stays, and that is okay. The ones who are meant to stay will find their way back
About Me
My name is Mila. I live in Poland, in a city that smells of fresh bread in the morning and damp earth after rain. I am not extraordinary, but I am real. I wake up early, brew coffee that is too strong, and watch the sunrise from my small balcony. But my mind always drifts toward open spaces. I am quiet around strangers and loud with those I trust. I value honesty above comfort. I believe in kindness, even when the world forgets to be kind back. I laugh easily, cry in secret, and forgive slowly. I am still learning who I am, but I am no longer afraid of the unanswered questions
My Dream
My biggest dream is to run a marathon in every country I have ever wanted to visit — starting with Greece, then Japan, then Portugal. I want to feel the pavement beneath my feet in foreign lands. I want to run through olive groves, along coastlines, through ancient cities where history whispers from every stone. But deeper than that, I dream of opening a small café by the sea. A place where people come for warm bread and quiet conversation. A place that smells of cinnamon, coffee, and hope. I want to create a space where tired souls can rest. Where strangers become friends. Where time slows down, if only for an hour
Meaning of Life
I do not believe life has one single meaning. I think meaning is something we create, day by day, in the choices we make and the people we choose to be. Maybe meaning is in the morning coffee, in the run that hurts but heals, in the book that makes you cry at 2 AM. Maybe it is in the kindness we offer strangers and the forgiveness we give ourselves. I used to search for a big answer - something grand and philosophical. But now I think meaning is simple. It is being present. It is loving, even when it is hard. It is noticing the small miracles - a bird singing, a laughing, the first snow falling. Life is not a puzzle to solve, but a gift to live. And I am learning to live it, moment by moment, breath by breath.
